We are seeking anIntermediate Human Factors Engineerfor ourPickering, ONoffice.ResponsibilitiesHuman Factors (HF) Specialists apply the knowledge of human capabilities and limitations to the design of systems and equipment.Human Factors Engineering ensures that the system and design are compatible with the sensory, perceptual, cognitive and physical attributes of the personnel who operate, maintain and support the system.HF Specialists work as part of multi‑discipline teams to analyze information and evaluate existing and proposed designs under the following frameworks: CNSC G-276, CNSC G-278, NUREG 0711 and CSA N290.12.QualificationsUniversity degree in Engineering or Science specializing in Human Factors Engineering or related discipline (e.g., systems engineering).Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or eligible for registration shortly.5+ years of related working experience in a design environment within the Canadian Nuclear Industry is considered an ass...
