Intermediate Highway Designer, Engineer (Ottawa)

Location

Ontario – Mississauga, Ottawa, or Thornhill.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Delivery: Ensure the successful design of highways and drainage systems using advanced tools such as OpenRoads, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, and more.
• Field Engagement: Participate in site visits to assess and document existing conditions.
• Design & Analysis: Prepare alignments, geometrics, cost estimates, quantity calculations, technical reports, and memos.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Coordinate design inputs from multiple teams for seamless project execution.
• Project Planning: Develop level‑of‑effort estimates, contribute to design schedules, and assist with construction timelines.
• Proposal Support: Provide input for proposals and contribute to innovation and “Future Ready” initiatives.
