AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer experienced in tailings dam design for tailings management projects across Canada and elsewhere. This role emphasizes technical aptitude and project execution, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with regulatory standards in tailings management.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and oversee construction of tailings dams, embankments, and associated infrastructure.
- Conduct geotechnical analyses, including slope stability, seepage, liquefaction, and settlement evaluations.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for tailings facilities.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
