Intermediate Electrical Engineer, Building Systems – Data Centers and Electrotechnical Studies

Overview

Conduct visual inspections and field surveys required for project design. Design and produce building electrical drawings and specifications, including but not limited to lighting systems, electrical distribution, fire alarm systems, electrical installations and other related systems, in compliance with the Building Code and applicable standards. Perform specialized electrotechnical studies and produce associated technical reports, including arc flash analyses, grounding studies, protection coordination and selectivity, and short-circuit and load calculations. Design normal and emergency power distribution networks for critical infrastructure such as data centers, hospitals and other strategic facilities. Use specialized software to model low- and medium-voltage electrical networks. Ensure deliverables, schedules and the quality of produced drawings and technical documents are met.
