At Jacobs, we’re addressing today’s challenges to reinvent tomorrow by solving critical problems in environmental consulting, supporting thriving cities, resilient environments, and innovative projects. Based out of Burnaby, other areas in the Lower Mainland or BC Interior, Calgary, or Edmonton, you’ll join the Aquatics Team and contribute to baseline environmental planning, permitting, and construction efforts for government and privately owned infrastructure projects throughout Western Canada. The Intermediate Aquatics Biologist will lead and mentor field crews for surveys supporting all project phases from permitting to post-construction monitoring.
This position will start immediately with an anticipated 80% travel for fieldwork and 20% office work. A successful offer may be full-time or a 12-month contract, with potential extension or conversion to full-time depending on workload and skillset.
