Interim Head of Accounting & Finance

Overview

Our client is a successful Custom Manufacturer based in the Markham area, and they are looking to add to their team an interim Head of Accounting & Finance for an initial term of 3 months.

This is an in‑office 5 days per week role, with staff management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

As the Interim Head of Accounting & Finance, you will be responsible for hands‑on accounting and reporting work, reviewing others’ work, working on actuals and day‑to‑day tasks, while also advising on strategic plans and forecasts. You will supervise a small team of 2‑3 clerical staff.

Qualifications

• CPA with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Systems savvy; Epicor is a nice to have
• Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
