Insurance & Surety Associate
As an Insurance & Surety Associate at EllisDon, you will support the insurance and surety needs of all company areas by working closely with the brokerage team and ensuring that all projects have the required coverage, bonding, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform day‑to‑day servicing of the insurance & surety needs for all EllisDon areas in close collaboration with the brokerage (CIMI).
- Assign tenders and track insurance requirements.
- Review insurance & bonding requirements on RFIs, RFPs, and MSAs and direct them to brokerage.
- Request and prepare surety quotes in collaboration with the surety broker (currently Aon).
- Request certificates of insurance where required and forward inquiries to the broker.
- Assist with costing/quoting of projects or extensions in partnership with brokers.
