About the Role
Our client, a manufacturer of measuring and control instruments, is looking for a Technologist.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission measurement/control instruments and systems (at the workshop and at customer sites)
- Program and configure equipment according to specifications
- Prepare electrical diagrams and plans
- Provide technical support to users and integrators
- Assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot control panels
Qualifications
- DEC or AEC in Engineering Technology (industrial electronics, industrial maintenance)
- 3 years of experience in instrumentation, control and telemetry
- Experience with AutoCAD, Draftsight
- 40% travel primarily in the greater Montreal area (service vehicle available) and occasional travel to northern Quebec
- French, functional English
