As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial settings. You will primarily work with electronic pneumatic and hydraulic instrumentation systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, calibrate and repair various types of instruments including pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature controllers and level sensors.
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and equipment using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Identify and replace faulty components or wiring in instrument systems.
- Read technical diagrams and manuals to understand the operation of instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance.
