Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings such as equipment lay out, Cable tray / ladder layout, P & IDs, general arrangement drawings and instrument hook up drawings.
Understand the principles of basic instrumentation requirements.
Ability to identify, select, and safely operate all instrumentation tools such as hand benders, Hydraulic benders, bench benders etc.
Ability to perform various bends, offsets and stack up to 5 tubing line consecutively to device or rack.
Ability to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install primary piping and tubing including stainless steel tubes, Galvanized pipes, Cable trays / ladders in various sizes and lengths.
Competence to identify type and sizes of pipes, tubes, and related materials as per the drawings. Assemble and install Instrument Stands, control panels, JB’s, instruments, trays / ladders.
