Instructor for Personal Care Course

Teach the next generation of Health Care Assistants in Comox Valley as a sessional instructor. Engage and motivate students through effective teaching of HCA 120 in a welcoming classroom setting.
This role calls for a sessional instructor who possesses a Practical Nursing credential or BSN degree coupled with adult teaching experience. You will plan instructional materials, monitor student progress, and contribute to the development of a caring educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct HCA 120 to international health care assistant students
• Design and adapt learning materials to diverse needs
• Grade student evaluations and maintain accurate records
• Interact positively with students during office hours
• Participate in committee meetings and community activities
Requirements:
• BSN degree or Practical Nursing credential mandatory
• At least two years of adult teaching experience
