This position will commence at the beginning of the school year.

This position will report to the Coordinator of Learning Supports and shall perform duties and responsibilities as may be assigned, but not restricted to, the following:

Responsibilities

• Consult and support a team of professional staff responsible for providing services in the areas of special education, school counseling, speech‑language pathology, educational psychology and occupational therapy.
• Provide leadership and direction within their service area with regard to current and emerging initiatives from the Ministry of Education in the area of children’s services.
• The gathering of special education data for the school grants/special education database as required by the Ministry of Education.
