Installer, Mason and Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and restore structures such as walls, floors, sidewalks, and buildings using bricks, stones, concrete blocks, or similar materials.
• Lay and align materials according to blueprints, drawings, or instructions.
• Mix, pour, and spread mortar, cement, and other binding materials.
• Cut or shape bricks, stones, or tiles to fit specific measurements.
• Repair or replace damaged masonry structures and surfaces.
• Install reinforcement materials to strengthen structures as needed.
• Ensure construction meets safety standards and building codes.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mason or relevant fieldwork.
• Knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
