Inspector, Field Operations, Central
Location: Slave Lake or Edmonton, AB
Employment Type: Full Time – Limited Term – Anticipated duration 16 Months
Salary: T3, Level 5, $102,000- $120,000 per year (Northern Living allowance may be available)
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct inspections focusing on compliance with the Public Lands and Water Act and the Pipeline Act on oil and gas infrastructure.
- Prepare inspection plans, collect and analyze information to assess compliance, and prepare detailed inspection reports.
- Respond to calls on the 24‑hour emergency response/complaint line and support incident and complaint resolution.
- Communicate and consult with industry about areas of concern and lead meetings and technical presentations to industry and government agencies.
