Responsibilities
- Prospect, assess, and convert new business opportunities into active customers
- Expand share of wallet by introducing additional product lines to existing clients who currently source elsewhere
- Transition accounts from non-preferred suppliers to designated preferred vendor offerings
- Increase revenue within existing accounts by promoting upgraded, alternative, or newly available products
- Proactively inform customers about upcoming deals, promotional campaigns, and new product launches
- Relay shifts in product demand—both increases and declines—to the purchasing team
- Provide exceptional service to foster long-term relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Develop, execute, and oversee pricing strategies across assigned accounts
