The Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides comprehensive behavioral health assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic treatment to children and adolescents admitted to an inpatient psychiatric unit. This role functions as a core member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed care to patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises.

The therapist is responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating individual, group, and family therapy, coordinating discharge planning, and collaborating with medical, nursing, educational, and community providers to ensure continuity of care.
