To strengthen Vodafone’s corporate research group in the domains of artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for the following aims: i) to identify new use cases and enabling technologies where advances in AI and ML (incl. advanced genAI approaches, Agentic AI frameworks, new Foundation Models, Large and Small Language Models, Explainability etc.) can make a difference to Vodafone’s cost base and revenue opportunities. ii) to scout the market for high‑impact emerging AI technologies and products and selectively evaluate them, iii) to drive the engagement with other Vodafone teams to identify new value & collaboration opportunities, iv) to explore opportunities arising from use of AI/ML e.G. in the context of AI Native Networks & Operations, Intent‑based Automation, Network Digital Twins, 6G networks, Quantum Machine Learnin...
