Job Summary:
The objective of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Welding Technologies is to ensure that welding manufacturing processes are robust and capable of meeting production standards and welding specifications in terms of quality, cost, and delivery. This role ensures equipment capability through data analysis, analyzes welding process failures, and provides effective countermeasures. The position also focuses on cycle time improvement, workstation ergonomics, productivity measurement, and the development of actions to improve and sustain overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Process Capability Analysis
Conduct process capability and performance studies for welding and manufacturing processes.
Collect and analyze equipment data to identify issues; act as a problem-solving champion using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
