Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Force Support Squadron (FSS) Information Technology office on RAF Lakenheath, UK. . Responsibilities Assist the Force Support IT program in all matter relating to data automation data systems and communications, hardware/software applications used within the Force Support Squadron. This includes, but not limited to, overdeveloping programs for local requirements using current versions of Microsoft Access and Excel and training personnel in their use; install software and hardware and provide training as required; provide technical support for Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications and/or legacy systems such as: Service Information Management System (SIMS), various Point-of-Sale (PoS) systems, and current version of Microsoft browser software, anti-virus software, desktop operating systems, and network e-mail; prepares and maintains documentation for locally developed programs; assists i...
