Summary About the Position: The incumbent serves as the SOCAFRICA J6 Cyber Security Division Chief and SOCAFRICA's Information System Security Manager (ISSM) responsible for developing and enforcing a formal Command Cyber Security and training program, and overseeing the assessment and authorization (A&A) process across the command to include garrison networks and all special operation force (SOF) elements deployed to the African continent. Responsibilities Enforces Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) dissemination, reporting, compliance and verification procedures in accordance with DoD/DA policies, regulations and guidelines. Manages the Command IA Certification and Accreditation Process to ensure Information Systems and Networks are in compliance with DoD/DA regulations and guidelines.
