Information Technology Procurement

Duration: 12 months + extensions or conversion to permanent

Location: 4 days on site, Ottawa

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7+ years of experience in IT-focused procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or technology purchasing

• Strong experience managing enterprise software licensing, renewals, and vendor agreements

• Understanding of different software license models and can provide key reporting or feedback for cost savings

• Knowledge of Microsoft ecosystems and its licensing include AI, Cloud, etc and other common software programs such as Workday, Salesforce, Matlab, etc

• Experience with SaaS procurement, software lifecycle management, and license tracking/optimization

• Familiarity with open-source licensing considerations and compliance requirements

• Strong contract negotiation skills, including pricing, SLAs, renewals, and vendor management
