Information Operations Plans Specialist

Summary About the Position: Serves as the Chief of the Information Operations (IO) Plans Branch for the Information Operations Division (IOD), Operations Directorate, USSOUTHCOM. Responsible for managing, producing, and coordinating IO plans, operations, and activities in assigned geographical area of responsibility (AOR). Conducts integrated strategic planning and strategy, IO force structure, and resource management with the Joint Staff, OSD, and regional and functional Combatant Commands. Responsibilities Primary advisor to the IO Division Chief (J39) on all matters concerning IO doctrine, employment, assessment, and resourcing.
