Summary You will serve as an Industrial Hygienist in the Industrial Hygiene Program Office (IHPO) of US NMRTU BAHRAIN. Responsibilities You will perform Industrial Hygiene (IH) inspections, surveys and evaluations individually or as part of a team. You will assess work practices to identify the population at risk and to detect violations of published health standards (e.g. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, DoD and DoN directives). You will research the chemical and toxicological literature, develop and/or recommend individualized methods and approaches to obtain a valid and complete evaluation. You will present oral briefs, if requested, and provide detailed written reports of IH survey findings including hazards identified, assessment of the hazards, exposure monitoring required, and controls recommended.
