New Venture Safety Services is currently looking for qualified Industrial Firefighters. Ideal candidates will have previous relevant experience within the oil and gas industry.
Qualifications
- Prior H2S Supervisory and Oil and Gas Experience would be an asset
- Valid H2S Alive Certificate
- Valid First Aid Ticket
- Firefighting training must meet NFPA 1001 and/or 1081 standards
- Competent in operating fire pumps and all associated fire equipment
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and current (within 30 days) drivers abstract
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brakes would be an asset
- Operating company equipment in a safe manner
- Physically capable of working in adverse environments and conditions
- Experience in the use of breathing apparatus and gas detection equipment
