Overview

Indigenous Speech-Language Pathology Assistant supports the Indigenous Speech-Language Pathology Team. Reports to the Director of Early Childhood Supports. The Indigenous Speech-Language Pathology Assistant works collaboratively with the Registered Speech-Language Pathologist(s) (RSLPs) and the Early Childhood Supports Department to support the communication development of Indigenous preschool-aged children and their families using a family-centred and strengths-based approach.

Responsibilities

  • As an ISLP Assistant, duties include administrative tasks such as assisting clients with completion of clinical forms and scheduling appointments.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment, and prepare therapy materials.
