IMS DBA- Major Bank- 12 month contract

A major bank is seeking an IMS DBA an initial 12 month contract highly likely to extend.

Role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and optimize IMS DB/TM environments across production and non-production systems
• Perform IMS database design, modeling, reorganization, and performance tuning
• Manage IMS system segments, DBDs, PSBs, ACBs, and associated utilities
• Implement and support IMS exits, security, DR/HA configurations, and subsystem integrations
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes in a 24/7 financial environment
• Participate in large-scale modernization and platform engineering initiatives

Key Skills / Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on IMS DBA experience in large enterprise or financial services environments
