Job Title: Import Manager – International Logistics & Trade Compliance Location: Chennai Experience: 8–12 Years (Minimum 5 years in Electronics/Consumer Durables Import is Mandatory) Industry: Electronics Manufacturing / Consumer Durables / EMS / Technology Distribution Job Description We are looking for an experienced Import Manager to lead end-to-end international import operations, customs clearance, and trade compliance for imports primarily from China . The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in customs regulations, freight management, import documentation, and electronics-specific regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end import operations from supplier shipment to warehouse delivery. Handle customs clearance through CHAs and ensure timely cargo release. Ensure compliance with BIS, WPC, EPR, DG Handling , Foreign Trade Policy, and Customs regulations. Classify products using HS Codes and leverage applicable FTAs for duty optimization.
