**Position**:
IBM Technical Engineer
**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Provides technical support and guidance to channel partners and sales staff with pre-sales activities on behalf of Arrow's supplier IBM.
- Leads in the analysis, design, and refinement of technology solutions
- Demonstrates knowledge on IBM Power systems, networking, and cloud services
- Keeps up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape
- Develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of assigned channel partners and their end users
- Successfully builds relationships with the Arrow account team, partners and end users in support of sales objectives; engages and leverages Arrow horizontal resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriate
- Participate in IBM technical sales calls with and on behalf of channel partners
- Qualifies IBM sales opportunities to meet end customer technical requirements
