Job Description – IBM MQ Expert Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IBM MQ Expert to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise-grade messaging solutions. The role focuses on ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performance message-based integration across multiple systems in a mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, and administer IBM MQ environments across development, UAT, and production.
- Create and manage Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, and Listener configurations.
- Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) setups for IBM MQ.
- Monitor MQ performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve message flow failures.
- Handle message persistence, security, and error handling mechanisms.
- Configure and manage SSL/TLS security, certificates, and channel authentication (CHLAUTH).
