The Institute of Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence based in Barcelona, Spain. IBEC seeks a Director to provide full‑time leadership, scientific vision, and strategic management of research activities, staff, finances, and collaborations.

Responsibilities

• Define and steer the IBEC Strategic Plan and research activity program, presenting to the Board of Trustees.
  
• Ensure financial sustainability, secure competitive funding and private sponsorships, and oversee the financial management of the institute.
