Overview
HVAC Journeyman provides maintenance, repair, and replacement of heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment using knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and structural layout. Certifying or inspecting repair or maintenance work performed by maintenance teams. Escorting the subcontract workers, buses, and trucks to various locations.
Responsibilities
+ Perform HVAC work involving installation, maintenance, and repair of package units, chillers, heat pumps, and air-handling equipment.
+ Performs inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems on site systems and components to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and repair parts and recommend preventive maintenance improvements.
