Role Purpose

Provides high level technical and analytical expertise for driving root cause in solving chronic issues and overcoming significant technological hurdles. Identifies and drives breakthrough process, product, and technology improvements leading to major financial impact and/or competitive advantage. Develops new process technology and fundamental understanding in support of division/company priorities; proactive in the propagation of engineering principles and practices across the company. Develops and implements new products and/or processes/technologies to support company priorities. Technology gatekeeper—monitors, communicates, and sanctions best practices and consistent application of technology, serving as the final word on technical matters in the field of expertise.
