**About the role**
As part of our new-country launch in Tunisia, we are seeking an experienced HR Administration Specialist to establish and run core HR operations locally. This is a hands-on role that blends HR administration, employee relations, labor law expertise with the ability to operate autonomously, set up processes from the ground up, and ensure compliance with Tunisian labor law and Cognizant’s global standards
**In this role, you will:**
• Own the employee lifecycle in Tunisia: onboarding, contract issuance, addenda, probation tracking, offboarding.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries (contracts, benefits, leave, policies).
• Maintain accurate personnel files, HRIS updates, leaves/absence, benefits and payroll inputs in line with Tunisian labor regulations.
• Prepare HR letters and support disciplinary or grievance matters in coordination with Regional HR/Legal.
