Overview
A Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in homes, hotels, offices, or other facilities.
Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels
- Wash, fold, and iron laundry as needed
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries
- Dispose of trash and sanitize waste bins
- Notify management of any necessary repairs or maintenance issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required)
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred but not required)
- Experience in hotels, hospitals, or private residences is a plus
