Role and Facility Information
Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Williams Lake is seeking a Hospitalist to work in the acute inpatient medicine setting. The role is MRP (most responsible physician) for complex medical and co‑management of surgical patients, as well as palliative care.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care in an acute setting.
- Serve as MRP for complex medical and surgical patients.
- Co‑manage care with specialists and family physicians.
- See an average of 12–16 inpatients per 8‑hour shift.
- Participate in patient rounds, admit/transfer/discharge activities, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Compensation
Full‑time hospitalist compensation: Annual base income of $336,168.00 ($200.10 per hour) with an additional 40% available through group contract incentives. MOCAP level 2 and After Hours Premiums are also provided. Physician overhead is not applicable.
