What is the Opportunity?
Aecon Field Services Inc. has an opportunity for a Directional Driller in Edmonton and surrounding area project locations. Reporting to the Superintendent, the Horizontal Directional Driller will be responsible for all phases of any directional drilling tasks directed by the site foreman in order to meet or exceed client expectations. This will not be a unionized position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre‑trip/walk‑around safety inspection.
- Operate Horizontal Directional Drill and/or locating equipment independently and safely.
- Provide technical support to clients and crew members as required.
- Keep abreast of all directional drilling techniques and all surveying methods.
- Manage inventory and supplies.
