Do you have the confidence to lead learning and the resilience to support pupils with complex needs?
We’re looking for an experienced HLTA to join a supportive PRU in South Shields, working with a primary-aged class full time, 8:30am–4:00pm.
This role is ideal for someone who understands behaviour as communication and can create strong, consistent routines that help pupils thrive.
What you’ll be doing
Leading daily lessons and structured classroom activities
Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Adapting learning to suit individual needs and abilities
Maintaining clear routines and expectations
Supporting pupils to re-engage with education
