HGV Technician - Matlock

Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician living in the Matlock or surrounding area looking for a workshop‑based role? Are you looking for a Monday to Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm day shift role? Permanent, full‑time role, 40 hours per week, salary up to £47,000p/a.

Role Overview

You will be working on a variety of tractor units, municipals, RCVs, sweepers, dust carts, gritters, the occasional tanker and tanker unit. You will be carrying out inspections and general maintenance on a diverse fleet and you can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment.

Responsibilities

• Routine (and preventative) maintenance
• MOT preparation
• Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
• 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
• Correction of running defects
