Shape IP protection initiatives as the IP Protection Manager in Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions. This role requires crucial collaboration and strategic oversight in Calgary, Alberta, or Morton, Illinois.
As part of Hexagon’s legal and compliance team, the IP Protection Manager works closely with product and engineering management. The successful candidate will hold a B.Sc. and have a minimum of seven years of experience, including project management, to enhance Hexagon’s patent protections and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee patent process management with external counsel
• Liaise between R&D, engineering, and finance for IP matters
• Maintain strategic alignment of the patent portfolio
• Track and report on competitor patent activities
