Job Description
The Laundry Staff is responsible for the efficient and timely processing of guest laundry and hotel linens. This includes washing, drying, folding, and sorting laundry items according to established procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and sort soiled laundry from guest rooms and other areas.
- Operate and maintain washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
- Wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to hotel standards.
- Inspect laundry for stains and damage, and take appropriate action (e.g., re-washing, spot cleaning).
- Sort and fold clean laundry and prepare it for distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Laundry Supervisor/Manager.
