Our company is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform road work, excavation work, lifting work
- Operate and control the equipment safely in changing ground conditions
- Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, work site or traffic laws
- Complete daily inspection checklists; respond to signals and directions by staff and work in coordination with them
- Work in tight work areas and in close proximity of workers, underground utilities, overhead power lines and the general public
- Perform safety, maintenance or servicing checks to ensure proper functioning of the equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill tanks
- Perform other duties, as and when assigned
- Inform and advise management or repairmen for major repairs or maintenance
