Heavy Duty Mechanic for Thyssen Mining

Thyssen Mining is searching for a knowledgeable Heavy Duty Mechanic for its Ontario location. This fly-in/fly-out role is your chance to excel within a dynamic team environment.
This position requires a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to operate on a 14 x 14 schedule. You will engage in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial machinery and systems critical to mining operations. An ability to lead safe work practices within the team is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and troubleshoot industrial machinery and equipment
• Operate lifting devices for machinery setup
• Participate in preparing and following operational guidelines
• Test repaired machinery to ensure performance
• Clean and lubricate equipment for longevity
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
• Asset: experience with underground mining machinery
