Overview

Finning Canada is looking for a passionate and field‑experienced Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic (RedSeal preferred) to join our team based out of the Surrey branch. Our Heavy Duty Mechanics are responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing Caterpillar general line equipment throughout the region, specifically in a field environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on ultra‑class Caterpillar construction equipment.

Job Description

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in a field environment, including remote locations.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
• Provide support with reference to on‑site safety requirements.
• Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment.
