Heavy Duty Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maneuver heavy‑duty vehicles ensuring adherence to all traffic regulations and safety protocols at all times.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to identify any mechanical issues ensuring the vehicle is in optimal working condition.
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage to both the vehicle and the freight.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and freight documentation to comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in heavy vehicle operation are a plus.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the type of vehicle operated.
