Heavy Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and reliable mechanic to join our team in rural North Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a range of machinery items.

Key Responsibilities-

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company fleet, cranes, trucks, earthmoving equipment, and small plant machinery

Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs or coordinate with external specialists

Conduct regular safety checks and ensure all equipment meets Australian safety standards

Assist with breakdowns on-site and provide prompt support to minimise downtime

Maintain accurate service records and manage spare parts inventory

Keep the workshop organised and ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
