Health Information Management is currently seeking a Health Information Management Professional to join our Access & Disclosure (A&D) team. The Access and Disclosure (A&D) Specialist plays a vital role within the Health Information Management (HIM) department, responsible for processing requests for health information ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of health information released in compliance with the Health Information Act (HIA). Reporting to the A&D Supervisor, the A&D Specialist is responsible for processing complex patient, complex Health Care Provider (HCP) and third‑party requests for health information in alignment with applicable Alberta legislation, organizational policies and provincial A&D standards.
