About the Role
Reporting to the Health & Wellness Manager or Director of Care, the Health Care Aide provides personal care and performs selected tasks within the scope of their knowledge and skill, under the direction of their supervisor while adhering to regulatory and company standards, policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to the plan of care as determined by the supervisor.
- Facilitate residents' move‑in and transfers where applicable.
- Observe and report on resident care/service using appropriate company forms or tools.
- Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living.
- Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the supervisor.
- Escalate medical emergencies to the supervisor or emergency medical services as appropriate.
