About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Health & Safety Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs within our growing product development organization. This role is critical to ensuring a safe and compliant environment while supporting the advancement of innovative technologies involving hydrogen, sodium hydroxide, and galvanic generator systems.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will play a key role in fostering a strong culture of safety, balancing occupational and product safety requirements, and supporting business growth through scalable safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain health & safety programs in compliance with Ontario regulations, as well as UL and CSA standards
- Conduct Pre-start Health and Safety Reviews (PSRs) for new and modified processes, particularly those involving hazardous materials and emerging technologies
