Opportunity
The primary role of the Health & Safety Coordinator is to facilitate and manage HJR's health and safety program. The main duties of this position include supporting employees to operate in a safe and respectful work environment, contributing to establishing and maintaining a healthy and safe work culture, performing regular work site inspections and audits, tracking incidents and analyzing trends, conducting investigations, developing safety reports, offering recommendations to management, as well as coordinating safety training and subcontractor management. This position will require some travel around the province of Saskatchewan.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience working in construction industry in a safety related role preferred
- NCSO designation (or actively working towards)
- Post-secondary education in a safety related field is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point...
