Main Functions
- Manage and oversee rigging operations
- Act as the lead rigger during rehearsals and performances
- Ensure the rigging team and technical personnel respect standards and regulations regarding the safety of rigging equipment, and apply safe work methods
- Develop and update training and succession programs to ensure continuity of rigging operations during performance runs
- Inspect and maintain rigging equipment, and keep records of inspections and alterations
- Support the Technical Director by taking part in the process of hiring new technicians, managing team budgets and projecting expenditures
Requeriments
- College or University- Live entertainment or theatre production (or relevant work experience)
- 5+ years Experience in the entertainment industry
- 3+ years Experience in a management or leader role
